The Rebels moved to 2-0 in this year’s South Shore Tournament with a win over Seaford. After taking a 2-0 lead early the boys let up 5 runs on what we will say was not there best effort defensively.
Fortunately the team wanted to part of a loss on Coach Sam’s Birthday and responded quickly with a 6 run inning of there own.
Timely hitting by Michael Proios, Eric Solomon & Brian Porricelli along with two excellent bunts by Tyler McPartland & Matt Coster helped the team take a lead that they would not give up.
The game was followed by a team BBQ along with Birthday cake for the coach.
