In Mike’s absence I will provide a quick recap from Saturday’s Double Header.

The first game was a classic pitching dual; Nicky V dominated the mound for 4 innings allowing no runs and two hits. Michael P took the mound for the last two innings and preserved a 1-0 victory for the Rebels. Eric S had an outstanding at-bat where he proceeded to foul off 7 to 8 balls before coming up with the game winning RBI.

The second game was a classic Rebel Victory; the team scored 9 runs on big hits from many players. With K-Mac settling in for 4 innings of strong pitching and Jack D closing the deal, the team went on to a 9-4 victory.
